Wat Phra singh

Built by King Play Yo in 1345 and located in the middle of Chiang Mai’s old city, Wat Pra singh is a grave for Play Yo’s father, king Kham Fu.

Wat phra That Doi Suthep

Wat phra That Doi Suthep is a golden pagoda on 1080 m mountain where Buddha’s ashes are buried. From here, one can see all of beautiful Chiang Mai city.

Wat Jedee Luang

This temple is another honorable historic building equal to Wat Phra singh. The pagoda was built in 1411 but collapsed because of an earthquake in 1545. It was repaired, but the top part has remained broken.

True to its name, the Sunday Market is open every Sunday. You can buy Thai pants, organic foods, soap, etc. Every year, the market gets bigger

Night Bazaar

There are a wide variety of shops in the night bazzar, selling all manner of goods from cloth, to wallets, watchs, gemstones, and more.

Loi Krathong

This festival takes place in the middle of November, on the night of the full moon. During the festival the city is enveloped in the magical light of Komli.

Night safari

Take a ride though the night on this safari and look at the many nocturnal creatures of Chiang Mai. The land is vast and good for taking night or daytime strolls as well.
